RESERVATION & PRIVACY POLICY

General

A booking is only valid if you have received a confirmation email. If you have not received this, contact us and we will help you further.

For all bookings, it applies that, with regard to safety, at least 1 person in the traveling party must know sufficient Norwegian or English.

We expect our guests and partners to adhere to the regulations applicable at all times within the protected areas; including the use of drones, cycling and organized activities. A complete overview of these regulations can be found on the website of the national parks.

Public tours

·       Cancellation of activities up to 48 hours before the activity's start time results in a full refund, plus a cancellation fee of NOK 50 per person.

·       Changing dates is free of charge, provided there is enough availability.

·       Arrive 15 minutes before the activity starts. Missed departures are not refunded.

·       Check whether your travel insurance covers lost/cancelled/delayed flight or boat, illness and other unforeseen circumstances that may cause you to miss the activity.

·       Muskox safari: In the summer season, there is a shuttle bus to Snøheim, which departs from the same address at 09:45. DO NOT board this bus as it is not affiliated with our safari. We do not wait or refund your booking.

Activities with private guide

·       In the period 1 June - 15 October, as well as during Norway's Christmas, winter and Easter holidays, payment for safaris with a private guide must be received no later than 2 weeks (14 days) before the actual activity date. If we have not received payment within this deadline, you risk having your booking cancelled.

·       Cancellation up to 2 weeks (14 days) before the start time of the activity results in a full refund, plus a cancellation fee of NOK 250.

·       Cancellation between 7-13 days before the activity's start time results in a 50% refund.

·       Cancellation less than 7 days before will be charged in full.

·       Check whether your travel insurance covers lost/cancelled/delayed flight or boat, illness and other unforeseen circumstances that may cause you to miss the activity.

 
To cancel your booking, please contact Dovre & Lesja Aktiv på post@moskus-safari.no. All cancellations have to be sent by e-mail.
Be aware that this cancellation policy only applies to activities organized by Dovre og Lesja Aktiv.
Dovre & Lesja Aktiv and our partners reserve the right to cancel activities at any time for safety reasons, or if the activity cannot be completed due to natural reasons such as weather conditions. In this case, you will be offered a choice of alternative activities or to receive a full refund.
We or the supplier reserve the right to change places of activity without notice. In such a case, we will do everything to get in touch with you before the activity starts. A change in the starting location of the activity only takes place for necessary safety reasons or due to conditions such as snow or weather on which the activity depends. Dovre & Lesja Aktiv is not responsible for injuries, lost or damaged items. We are not responsible for losses that may occur if the service cannot be provided for reasons due to Force Majeure.
Dovre & Lesja Aktiv is the recipient of general complaints or complaints regarding the purchased activities or products. If the activity or product is provided by a third party, any complaint will be processed in communication with the supplier.
Our customer service office is open from 09:00 to 21:00 Monday-Saturday. Sometimes we cannot answer the phone because we are out guiding, but we call back as soon as we can.

Privacy policy
By ordering from us, you are obliged to provide information that allows us to process your order. No information will be requested for any specific reason. We use your personal data to be able to provide you with a service when you contact us with questions, views or complaints. When you have booked a tour with us, we use your personal data to send you the booking confirmation and important information about the trip. For this, we use the e-mail address you provide when booking. After the tour, we can send you an e-mail asking you to answer questions about the tour, so we can offer even better services in the future.
Dovre & Lesja Aktiv will not sell or otherwise market your data to third parties. Data are transferred to public institutions and authorities only within the framework of mandatory national legal requirements. Our employees and partners are committed to maintaining confidentiality and complying with legal data protection rules.
You have the right at any time to receive free information about your personal data stored with us. If your data is stored incorrectly or is made incorrectly by us, we will be happy to correct, block or delete it. Notify us of any changes to your data immediately.
